The Casper Mountain Fire District is located 10 miles south of Casper, Wyoming on
Casper Mountain. The District covers Township 32 North, Range 79W, T32N, R79W,.
This 6 mile by 6 mile area covers the central portion of the mountain, having close to
700 homes and cabins within its boundary.
The fire hall is located at 1000 Lemmers Rd.,

Casper Mountain Fire Department (CMFD) initial response area is much larger than the
fire district's boundary. The department responds to wildland and structural fire incidents
on all of Casper Mountain, Muddy Mountain and areas south to the southern Natrona County line.
CMFD shares initial response to fires with Natrona County Fire District and Casper Fire
Department. Casper Mountain Fire Department does not respond to medical calls.
